Our permeable surface layer is installed at a depth of 30-45 mm, to provide a strong, stable, entirely permeable yet durable surface.
To replace your existing pathways, the only base preparation typically required is to clear enough existing aggregate to accommodate a 6″ permeable base, comprised of clear stone which also acts as a rain water storage facility during heavy storms. Then a 40mm layer of StoneSet Permeable pavement.
